  3. We here at LMU are having a funny problem.  It seems as though when using LWP 
  4. for DOS (under Windows) we cannot Gopher to "gopher.tc.umn.edu".  It just sits 
  5. and tries to connect.
  6.  
  7. When I try using Peter Tattam's Trupmet Winsock Stack everything works fine.  
  8. Have I found a bug in WINSOCK.DLL or WLIBSOCK.DLL from Novell, or am I just 
  9. going crazy.

  11. I wouldn't usually make a big deal about it, but there are many users here who 
  12. access that site to get to the European and Asian gopher server list.  I also 
  13. tried finding a Gopher client native to the LWP TCP/IP stack but was 
  14. unsuccessful.  The one I did find was a port of the Unix client and it didn't 
  15. even recognize the DNS, so I couldn't gopher anywhere.

  17. I am trying to find some reason to keep Lan Workplace around.  Can someone 
  18. please give me one??
